Time out

My association with the beloved (but sadly, defunct) Time Out magazine spans three years and two cities. I started out as a Principal Correspondent with the Delhi edition in 2011, and left the organisation as the Deputy Editor of the Mumbai edition. During my tenure there, I wrote on a variety of subjects including art, culture, books, and the city, via original reportage, interviews, reviews, essays and thinkpieces. I also commissioned external writers across genres and — along with a small, dedicated crack team — oversaw the magazine’s production process, that included ideating, planning, and executing cover stories.

(Sadly, the publication shut shop, as did the website. But at least I learnt the value of archiving.)
