Arré

Arré is a digital media platform based in Mumbai that works across multiple formats. Since 2016, Arré has distinguished itself in a crowded media landscape with its voice, spanning multimedia text pieces (opinion, deep-dives, personal essays), fiction and non-fiction audio and video. As the Creative Editor of the website, I oversaw text, non-fiction video, and podcasts, while writing on a variety of subjects. These included long-form reported pieces on topics as diverse as the Deonar landfill fire, and the people most affected by it, to how champion horses are bred and trained in the heart of Pune. I also wrote a column titled Rearview that attempted to find connections between the happenings of the week.
